The token

Gatekept runs on a token. The token is how you unlock paid tiers, pay for verdicts at scale, and access the hosted policy engine and audit infrastructure.

The intercept layer stays open. Anyone can wrap an agent action with gk.gate() and run the engine locally for free. The token gates the hosted service: higher verdict limits, unlimited policy rules, full audit retention, and compliance exports.

Verdicts are the unit of value. Every time Gatekept evaluates an agent action, that is one verdict. The token meters and settles verdict usage across every team building on the network.

Token details and pricing will be announced at launch. The free tier needs no token and never will.

Unlocks access
Silver and Gold tiers are unlocked with the token. Bronze stays free, no token required.
Meters verdicts
Pay per verdict at scale. The token settles usage as agents fire actions through the gate.

Open at the core
The intercept SDK is free and open. The token gates the hosted service, not the code.
Tiers are paid in $GATEKEPT

To unlock the Silver and Gold tiers, you purchase them using the token. The free Bronze tier stays free and always will, no token needed. For the higher tiers, the token is the key.

Paid tokens are burned

The tokens used to pay for tiers go into a treasury and are automatically burned. Every tier purchase permanently removes those tokens from circulation.
